Join us for a very special weekend of mediumship, evidence and development
Experience evidential mediumship, strengthen the way you work with others, or explore your own spiritual development through a private session.
Australian-born and now based in the United Kingdom, Penny Hayward joins our welcoming Spiritualist community for three days of connection, practical learning and personal exploration.
All are welcome, from those simply seeking healing or comfort from Spirit, to developing mediums ready to deepen their work.

Three ways to take part
This weekend may be for you if:
you are curious about evidential mediumship and would like to experience a live demonstration;
you are developing your psychic or mediumistic abilities and want to improve the quality of your private sittings;
you would value personal insight into your spiritual development;

You do not need to be a member of Chatswood Spiritualist Church to attend. New visitors are warmly welcome.
About Penny Hayward
Medium, Tutor and Spiritual Explorer
Penny Hayward is an Australian-born medium who has lived in the United Kingdom since 1999 and is now based in County Durham.
Her own journey into mediumship began through a desire to understand life, consciousness and her place in the world. Today, she works internationally through demonstrations, readings, teaching, speaking and spiritual-development programmes.
Penny is a course organiser and tutor at the Arthur Findlay College and has held appointments as an officiant, assessor and accredited Spiritualist healer with the Spiritualists’ National Union. Her qualifications include SNU diplomas in speaking mediumship, teaching and assessing, together with certificates relating to evidential demonstration, speaking, teaching and assessing.
Her work combines evidential practice with personal exploration, spiritual philosophy, consciousness and psychical research.
An Evening of Mediumship
Friday 27 Nov | 7:00pm–8:30pm | $40
Spend an evening experiencing evidential mediumship in a welcoming and professionally held setting.
Penny will demonstrate before a live audience, sharing the information and impressions she receives as she seeks to establish recognisable connections with loved ones in Spirit.
Messages will be shared with selected audience members as time allows. Although attendance cannot guarantee a personal message, everyone can observe how evidential mediumship is approached with clarity, sensitivity and respect.
Whether this is your first demonstration or you have attended many before, you are welcome to come with an open mind and experience the evening in your own way.

Perfecting Private Sittings
Saturday 28 Nov | 11:00am–4:00pm | $185
A meaningful private sitting involves more than receiving information. The way the sitter is welcomed, the expectations established and the information communicated can shape the entire experience.
During this practical workshop, Penny will guide participants through evidential and psychic reading practices from introduction to conclusion.
Together, you will explore how to:
introduce yourself and clearly explain the nature of the sitting;
create an atmosphere in which the sitter can feel comfortable;
establish appropriate expectations and boundaries;
recognise the difference between psychic, spiritual assessment and evidential information;
present information clearly, sensitively and responsibly;
maintain a natural and professional flow throughout the sitting;
respond when information is not immediately understood;
avoid creating pressure or dependency; and
bring a sitting to a kind, confident conclusion without making the sitter feel rushed.
The day will combine teaching, discussion and practical exercises, helping participants become more aware of both the information they receive and the experience they create for the sitter.

A limited number of one-to-one appointments will be available with Penny.

Psychic or Spiritual Assessment with Aura in Motion - $180
Choose either a psychic reading or a spiritual assessment supported by Penny’s Aura in Motion equipment.
A psychic reading may explore your personality, current circumstances, patterns and potential, with the intention of helping you consider your own way forward.
A spiritual assessment focuses on your natural psychic or mediumistic abilities, your development and areas you may wish to explore more deeply.
Aura in Motion equipment will be used as a visual and reflective aid during the session. Your images will be emailed to you afterwards.
Spiritual Assessment or Evidential Reading - $150

Spiritual Assessment
Explore the abilities Penny senses around you, your present stage of development and possible areas for further growth.
Evidential Reading
Penny will seek to establish communication with someone in Spirit known to you, bringing recognisable information such as personality, relationship, memories or shared experiences.
Communication with a particular person cannot be guaranteed. Penny’s published reading information also makes clear that psychic readings are intended to empower personal reflection rather than predict fixed outcomes.
How to book a private sitting
Appointments are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking & Transport
Limited parking is available near the hall and surrounding streets.
Please allow extra time for parking and walking to the venue.
The hall is a short walk from the Artarmon train station on the T1 (North Shore line) or the T9 (Northern Line).

Please arrive 15 minutes before your event or sitting to sign in and settle.
Tea and coffee will be available between sessions.
